The "flat turn" technique for the calibration of sideslip vanes is described in Part A. Details are given in Part B of the in-flight calibrations of sideslip vanes mounted on a de Havilland "DOVE" MK. 5" Aircraft, and a Morane-Saulnier M.S. 760 'PARIS I' aircraft.
