An experimental investigation was performed to define the basic jet switching and attachment phenomena in a choked flow two-diwiensional Coanda-Effect nozzle. The nozzle consisted of a convergent section with symmetrically setback divergent side-walls mounted at the nozzle exit. The sidewall setback and wall divergence angle were variable and the nozzle was operated at pressure ratios of 2 through 7. Secondary injection direct¬ed perpendicular to the nozzle centerline caused jet deflec¬tion with subsequent Coanda-Effect flow attachment and detach¬ment.
