Multi-Environment Test System for Sequential Timers

摘要

Timing accuracy of Sequential Timers for missiles was measured while the timer was being subjected to three (3) simultaneous environments - spin, vibration and extreme temperature - with timer activation being produced by a 6 inch Hyge shock machine. An automatic instrumentation system was developed which activated the timer by firing the Hyge shock machine, programmed the random vibration level and recorded the test parameters and response data.
