Evaluation of a Decompression Computer Developed for Divers.

A wide range of depth-time diving schedules were used to evaluate a test model of a decompression meter in its ability to simulate decompression requirements for these schedules comparable to those of the presently used U.S. Navy air decompression depth and time provided for longer and deeper exposures was inadequate. Temperature dependency,instrument instability and lack of reproducibility of values for the same dive schedule were problem areas which will require further evaluation toward their elimination.
