The objective of this contract was the design, manufacture, installation, and testing of the ATLAS, an acronym for Automatic Tape Layup System. This final report provides detailed descriptions of: the machine system and components, the machine fabrication procedure, fabrication-site testing at Goldsworthy Engineering, Inc., and installation and testing at the final site, the Boeing Company, Vertol Division.
