Interactions between Mosquito Repellents and Human Skin.

Dry protection time afforded by mosquito repellents is shown to depend on individual human differences and repellent evaporation rate. Data for repellent protection for 30 young adult males have been accumulated for a period of two years. Protection times afforded by DEET are normally distributed with individuals maintaining their relative ranks within the population consistently. (Author)
