A Study of the Waveguide Mode Excitation and Propagation in a Parallel Plate Transmission Line.

A study of the waveguide mode excitation and propagation is made for a parallel plate waveguide. Since this configuration is used in the simulation of the nuclear electromagnetic pulse, results appropriate for various simulators are obtained and discussed. The analysis assumes infinitely wide plates, but the question of finite width plates is addressed. (Author)
