摘要

A semiempirical model is developed to predict debris hazard arising from the backblast of small rockets. The model is in three parts: Gas dynamics give upper bounds on maximum velocities of jet entrained particles. Aerodynamics give an expression for subsequent motion of debris through still air. A semiempirical study gives an expression describing skin penetration by debris. Computer codes are given for implementation of model. (Author)
