摘要

Advanced magnetic resonance techniques, including electron nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) and electron spin echo (ESE) spectroscopies, have been employed to investigate Pi electron delocalization (both static and dynamic) and charge transfer effects (both intra- and inter- molecular) in a variety of polyacetylene and heteroaromatic ladder polymers. The consequences of these measurements for electrical conductivity, nonlinear optical activity, and physical properties such as solubility are discussed. Keywords: Nonlinear optical activity; Electrically conducting polymers; Ladder polymers; Polyacetylene; Electron delocalization; Reprints.
