Functionalized Micelles and Vesicles as Organic Reagents

The project has resulted in 17 publications. The cleavage of phosphates and nerve agent simulants by iodosobenzoates and related catalysts is described in 6 publications that are summarized here. The synthesis and utility of functionalized surfactants for the micellar and vesicular control of reactivity is described in 8 publications that are summarized here. The use of surfactant aggregates to influence and control the stereochemistry of reactions occurring within them is described in 3 publications that are summarized here.
