This monograph consists of an overview of four principal literatures on theeffects of stress on human performance, with specific reference to studies of the effects of stress on human judgement and decision making. The four literatures are: Clinical/social/personality (Literature I), ergonomics/human factors (Literature II), psychohysiology (Literature III), and judgement and decision making (Literature IV).
