We have performed a detailed temperature-dependent angle-integrated photoemission study of lightly-doped to heavily-overdoped La2-xSrxCuO4 and oxygen-doped La2CuO4.10. We found that, while the magnitude of the (small) pseudogap Delta* increased with decreasing hole concentration, that of the superconducting gap Delta(sc) did not increase. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V.
