As one of the most advanced fabrication shops in the Detroit area, PMP Marble of Troy, MI, has upgraded its equipment over the past few years to ensure it has the latest generation of stoneworking machinery. This collection of advanced equipment combined with the skill of its workers has enabled PMP Marble to complete a broad range of high-end, award-winning commercial and residential projects. The company is run by three brothers -- Harry, Frank and Alex Partalis -- who became involved in the stone industry shortly after moving to the U.S. "I was born and raised in Greece," explained Harry Partalis. "My brothers and I came here in 1991, and [shortly afterwards], my brothers worked in marble for a high-end hotel project. After the hotel was done, we saw an opportunity in the stone business.
