The new 3M temperature logger - a breakthrough in food integrity?

To date food manufacturers have had two points of security checking systems regarding temperature control of transported food- the temperature of the container before leaving the supplier and the temperature of the container when it arrives at the plant. Both suppliers and manufacturers therefore had to rely on the integrity of the driver that the temperature had not varied during travelling time, allowing room for doubt on the hygienic integrity of the final product. Until now. 3M's Industrial & Transportation Business (I&TB) launches the new temperature logger designed to continually monitor the environmental conditions of temperature-sensitive goods - in transit or in storage.
