A busy and innovative Propak Cape

We built up to it for months and then it was over! The 2011 Propak Cape exhibition, incorporating Food Pro, Pro-Plas Expo, Print Expo and Pro-Label, was held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 25-27 October and Food Review was thereto follow the trends. AMONG the many trends evidrnl al Propak were those of environmental awareness, affordable packaging, and rapid setup. The packaging industry is starting lo consider carefully the materials used for packaging, considering the amount, ils composition, and its end of life options, because they will have to help pay for its disposal. There was a wide array of products manufactured from recycled materials and products that reduced the need for additional packaging material.
