Foulath secures pellet plant licences, in talks on mine

Kuwaiti steel holding company Foulath has acquired operating licences for two new iron ore pelletizing plants in Egypt and is in talks with authorities in Oman to establish a pellet plant. It aims to add to its existing 11 million mt/year pellet capacity at Bahraini subsidiary Gulf Industrial Investment Co (GIIC) in order to serve growing demand from the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the Far East.
