摘要

In order to study the effect of Sr substitution on structural and dielectric properties of Bi_(1-x)Sr_xMnO_3 (0.40 ≤x≤ 0.55) compounds were synthesized by the solid state reaction method. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X- ray diffraction (XRD) and dielectric measurements to correlate structural changes with dielectric properties. The XRD data were further analyzed by the Rietveld refinement. The highest dielectric constant was observed in Bi_(0.55)Sr_(0.45)MnO_3 and Bi_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)MnO_3 systems (~10~6) mainly because of orientation polarization. The charge ordering temperature decreases with increasing Sr concentration in Bi_(1-x)Sr_xMnO_3 systems.
