Washington - OSHA on Sept. 8 issued a directive to compliance personnel instructing them on procedures for conducting inspections in response to incidents of workplace violence.Workplaces in health care, social service settings and late-night retail establishments are particularly vulnerable to workplace violence. Workplace violence has ranked among the top four causes of workplace death during the past 15 years, according to an OSHA press release.
