White House order to affect OSHA,EPA

President Bush on Jan.18 took steps to strengthen the White House's control over the actions of regulatory agencies,including OSHA,EPA,the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,and the Food and Drug Administration.The president amended Executive Order 12866 on Regulatory Planning and Review,originally issued in 1993.
