One of Ensyte's.Gastar clients recently acquired a company with several thousand wells on its books. Well data resided in multiple legacy systems, including Microsoft Excel and Access, a check filing system and a risk management tool. As more data sources were uncovered, Ensyte partnered with Open Source Business Consulting (OSBC) to evaluate migration options. OSBC recommended Talend's data migration toolset based on its previous migration projects. Talend offers 'drag and drop' functionality across disparate data sources and shaved 'weeks, even months' off the project. OSBC also provided data cleansing and validation services.
