摘要

Nominalization makes sentences longer and complicated because it adds a few words in the sentence. Writing is always simple, effective and shorter when verbs are used instead of nouns. If they had made a decision [6 words] instead of If they had decided [4 words]. In its ruling, the Court held that [7 words] [instead of The Court ruled [3 words]. If a company commits a failure [6 words] instead of If a company fails [4 words]. While giving a direction to the company [7 words] instead of While directing the company [4 words].
