Introduction of cobalt acetylacetonate to the solution containing phenoxide radicals has led todecelerating their termination. Cobalt acetylacetonate reactivity is dual, it has acted as an inhibitor when introduced in a certain concentration to the low-temperature oxidizing mixture.
