摘要

Numerous processes take place at differing rates in the functioning of automated grinding machines: the technological processes that realize the basic function of the machine in the course of the interaction of its subsystems; the oscillatory and thermal processes that are caused by the internal and external disturbance sources; the tribological processes, the elastic-deformation processes, and the other processes that determine the actual state of the grinding process and the equipment with the control of several of the parameters [1 and 2]. An important stage in ensuring the parametric reliability of grinding machines is the monitoring process, including the measuring, diagnosis, and prediction of the quality of the grinding process and its control on the basis of the analysis of the results of the measurements of the parameters of the technological process (TP) and the equipment [3]. The control of the dynamic characteristics of grinding machines is one of the most important elements of the monitoring process [4 and 5]. We shall examine this process for the example of the grinding machines that are used in producing the rolling-element bearings.
