摘要

In 1995-97 field trials were used to investigate the effect of sites, cultivars, seasonal variation and organic farming the on reducing sugar (RS) content in fresh tubers of potatoes cv. Agria, Ornella, Sante and Rosella. RS content was lower in potatoes from drier and warmer low altitude regions (0.44%) compared more humid and cooler traditional potato growing regions at higher altitudes in the Czech Republic. Ornella (0.26%) and Agria (0.37%) had lower RS content than Sante (0.61%) and Rosella (0.72%). RS content ranged from 0.22% in 1997 to 0.81% in 1996. RS content was higher in organic than in conventional cultivation in 1997 only.
