Method of forming an ultraviolet curable paint coating

Ultraviolet curable paints first appeared in the 1970s where higher cure speeds and less pollution were seen as an advantage over other technologies available at the time. However, the UV curing process produces a low energy smooth surface, which is a disadvantage when it comes to reworking the surface which limits its application on large objects such as panels.
