Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease with systemic manifestations, including neurological ones, which are heterogeneous. Neurological manifestations are present in up to 60% of SLE cases, with the most common being psychosis, seizures, headaches and cerebrovascular accidents [1].
