DEMAND OUTLOOK FOR SECONDARY ALUMINUM AND SECONDARY ALUMINUM ALLOYS IN FY 2015 (April 2015- March 2016)

The Japan Aluminium Alloy Refiners Association announced its demand outlook for secondary aluminum and secondary aluminum alloys for the fiscal year 2015 (April 2015-March 2016). According to the outlook, demand in fiscal 2015 is expected to move sideways from fiscal 2014. Negative factor is that demand from the casting and die casting sectors will be flat compared to the preceding year due to downturn in Japan's demand for vehicles and domestic auto production, while the positive one is that export of auto parts used for production of vehicles at overseas plants is forecast to remain steady.
