The use of video as a tool for sharing corporate communications and knowledge isn't new. But what is new is the broadband-enabled ease and speed with which video can now be shared online. Here, in an extract from Melcrum's report, Engaging employees with social media, we look at how the Electronics and Computer Science school at the University of Southampton, UK, has started to use online video to broadcast student and faculty news and research updates.
