摘要

Pharmacists sometimes complain of a lack of respect in health care circles. We grumble that the general public seems oblivious to what we can do for them. People seem to think we are merely "pill counters" and shopkeepers. Is it possible that we are in part to blame for this?In the last issue of CPJ, we highlighted a few of these issues: avoidance of the word diagnosis and the use of the self-denigrating term minor ailments. In fact, we disparage ourselves all the time. So often that we might not even realize it.
