Examining midwives' perceptions of using e-learning for continuing professional development

In recent years there has been an organisational drive to promote the use of technology to meet the needs of the 'learning organisation' within the NHS. Several government policies have promoted this, alongside strategies to integrate the use of e-learning and to meet continuing professional development (CPD) requirements within the NHS. 1 became interested in trying to explore whether e-learning was becoming more popular than conventional study methods as a means of meeting the CPD requirements of midwives.
