DEALERS OF PRECIOUS metals and stones operating in Canada will now have to meet another level of compliance after their activities were included in some new anti-money laundering/terrorist financing regulations. Bill C-25 - which was introduced last June as part of the regulatory revisions to Canada's Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act - has now been extended to what were previously non-reporting entities.
