TRUE TO FORM, the Australian Uranium Conference's only real voice of dissent, Australian Greens Senator Dr Bob Brown, maintained his party's outright anti-nuclear stance during a presentation which relied more on emotion than substance. Speaking during the opening session of the forum's second day, a passionate Dr Brown told the audience it was impossible to safeguard domestic uranium from weaponry use, despite claims from both the Coalition Government and the Australian Labor Party that such an outcome was achievable.
