Uranium exploration house Energy Metals Ltd received a boost in May with news that the Australian Safeguards and Non-Proliferation Office (ASNO) had approved an application by NT Energy Pty Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the junior) for permission to possess uranium ore concentrates (UOC) for export. The approval - in addition to the export permission granted by the Northern Territory's minister for resources and energy in March - means the company has now received all necessary regulatory approvals from public authorities for its newly launched uranium export business.
