摘要

This paper describes the aerosol size distribution properties and characteristics of a Ni-B-Zn ternary alloy deposited using a new dynamic chemical plating process. The influcence of the aerosol parameters on the metallic film deposition rate and output was discussed as well as their influence on the Zn deposition ratio in the ternary Ni-B-Zn alloy. The optimal aerosol volume distribution seems to be around 120 μm (diameter). The zinc percentage in the metallic deposit is influenced by the droplets size of the aerosol and the correct control of this parameter allows to obtain a metallic coating with improved corrosion protection properties.
