State produce industry organizes food safety certification agreement. Ohio Department of Agriculture Director David Daniels has conditionally approved the Ohio Produce Marketing Agreement (OPMA), according to a March 6 announcement from the Ohio Produce Growers & Marketers Association.Formal approval will probably come by the end of April, when enough growers have joined the agreement, said Michael Geary, OPMA's project manager.
