Food supply nutrients and dietary guidance, 1970-99.

摘要

This paper focuses on the 2000 edition of the 'Dietary Guidelines for Americans', and discusses estimates of the nutrient content of the US food supply during the period 1970-99. Recommended dietary allowances for carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals (particularly calcium and iron), are discussed.
