摘要

School safety programs are a staple of prevention efforts throughout the nation. The premise is simple: to reach children while they are young and to give them lifelong skills that will help protect them from a variety of hazards, fire included. But we often hope what is taught at school is also shared at home. Identifying that link and taking advantage of it are very challenging. And both, as usual, beg the question: How do we know our efforts are generating results?
