In the article published in the November issue of the Irish Veterinary Journal, EIMEAR DE SOUZA noted the species of mites most commonly found on dogs in Ireland and described appropriate techniques for obtaining and examining skin scrapings. Here, she discusses in detail the identification of each of the mite species previously noted.
