To help ensure that Canadian engineering graduates acquire the skills and knowledge needed for the future, a Canadian Council of Professional Engineers (CCPE) committee is currently reviewing the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board's (CEAB) accreditation criteria and processes. The committee includes representatives from industry, engineering schools, the CCPE and CEAB. Its mandate is to: identify the skills, knowledge and other elements required for an acceptable engineering education preparatory to professional licensure;
