BRILAMET research project comes to successful conclusion

THE SUCCESSFULLY concluded BRILAMET joint research project demonstrated that high-power diode lasers are suitable for the industrial-strength precision cutting of thick metal sheets (stainless steel with a thickness of 6.0mm). The project afforded LIMO an opportunity to enhance its ability to optimise beam-shaping systems for high-power lasers.
