The slaughterhouses is the so-called "final destination" of the pigs. A place where pigs are slaughtered to provide the meat sold in the market for public consumption. Hence, in order to provide the clean and disease-free meat that the consumers deserve, the slaughterhouses must be clean and disease-free as well. For November, the watchdogs of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), better known as the Compliance Monitoring Team (CMT) visited the slaughterhouses in Rizal and Batangas. Here's a glimpse of their story.
