LONDON (ICIS)--European styrene spot numbers are starting to firm again this week, sources said on Wednesday, with stronger Asian pricing and ongoing production problems in the US supporting the upward momentum. The week saw an unsteady start, with bids for November at $1,020/tonne while offers were at $1,050-1,055/tonne. The wide gap between buyers and sellers was an indication that the market was uncertain of any clear direction initially.
