A number of leading motors and drives suppliers will showcase new products and developments at this year's Queensland Mining and Engineering Exhibition (QME) 2004. Leading electrical motor and control equipment supplier Toshiba will formally introduce a selection of new motors, drives and controls suitable for a variety of mining applications at QME 2004. These new products include the TMS7 soft starter; the VF-7 Series variable speed drive (VSD) with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) enclosure; the MPR-6 motor protection relay; the V-Series controller; and a coal seam methane customised VSD/Ex motor package.
