LATE ENTRANT WINS MEAT JUDGING: Young Australians gain knowledge

THE Australian Meat Judging Competition was won by Ber-nadette Jolley, an Orange Agricultural College student who was a lucky late entrant after a fellow student pulled out only a few days before the contest. Joanne Taylor of Wagga Wag-ga, NSW, finished second. About 80 students from 11 agricultural colleges and TAPE colleges competed in the competition at the Rockdale abattoir near Yanco in southern NSW.
