Japanese shipping firm NYK Line has secured $190mn in loan financing to build a vessel that will ship LNG from the 12mn t/yr Cameron project in the US for Japanese trading firm Mitsui under a 25-year time-charter deal. Japan’s stateowned development bank JBIC will provide up to $133mn in project financing, while the remainder will be arranged by Japan’s Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.
