Singapore pushes on with bunkering plans

The Maritime Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and Singapore LNG terminal have signed an initial deal to develop a truck-loading facility for LNG bunkering. The MPA will commit S$2mn ($1.5mn) in funding to the venture. The truckloading facility will provide bunkering services and supply a variety of other industries that may require small amounts of LNG to be transported over land. The deal forms part of Singapore's plans to supply LNG bunkers by mid-2017.
