Gate LNG gets first cargo from Trinidad

The first of three commissioning cargoesfor Rotterdam's 8.7mn t/yr Gate LNGterminal has arrived from Trinidad. The 138,248m~3 British Trader loaded at PointFortin earlier this month and arrived atGate on 13 June. The second and thirdcargoes are scheduled to arrive on 5 July and 27 July, respectively. The Gateterminal - a joint venture between Dutchfirms Gasunie and Royal Vopak, and theNetherlands' first LNG import facility - isgearing up for the start of commercialoperations in September.
