Syrian unrest deters buyers

Syrian crude exports are scheduled to rise marginally in June, but growing instability is deterring buyers and forcing state-owned oil firm Sytrol to lower prices. Crude exports will rise to 175,000 b/d in June compared with 150,000 b/d in May. Exports of heavy Souedie will remain unchanged at 125,000 b/d, but Sytrol is raising Syrian Light exports to 50,000 b/d from May’s 25,000 b/d.
