Crude price forecasts have been sharply cut for the next two quarters and for 2015, a survey of analysts shows. North Sea crude prices — either North Sea Dated or Brent futures — will average about $97.10/bl next year, according to analysts surveyed by Argus. This is $10/bl lower than in a similar forecast in August (AGM, 15 August, p3). US benchmark WTI will fall by about as much to $89/bl in 2015, an $8.10/bl discount to Brent, the survey fnds (see table, below).
