Consortium Led by Gulf Capital Takes Total Control of Gulf Marine Services

A consortium led by Gulf Capital has just acquired an additional 50% of the capital of Gulf Marine Services (GMS), thereby becoming the sole owner of this UAE company, which provides engineering services and logistical support for upstream oil and gas activities offshore. The other members of the Gulf Capital consortium are Al Bateem Investments, Horizon Energy and Maritime Industrial Services (MIS). Based in Dubai, MIS acquired a 7.4% interest in GMS on 27 September.
